No – you can book an appointment even if you’re not an existing member of our practice. However, we recommend signing up because it offers the best value in the long term, with free and discounted services and treatments throughout the year. Our reception team will be happy to explain more, but there’s no pressure simply sign up if you feel it’s the best option for you.
Why should I join the membership plan?
We offer membership schemes because they really do give the best value to our patients. Your payments are spread across the year, so it’s completely predictable. You also get a reduced price for any additional treatment you need. There are several levels of membership and our team will explain them when you visit us.
What if I need more than just a check-up?
Our dentists are experts in spotting the early signs of a problem, which means it can be treated before it becomes worse. If you do need a filling, crown, bridge, implant or other treatment, we will discuss the options with you and allow you to make the decision about how to proceed. We want our patients to be involved in their treatment plan so they feel comfortable and confident in our care. I’m a nervous patient. Can you help me?
Yes, absolutely. We have had many nervous patients through the doors over the years. We do all we can to make them comfortable, to explain every part of their visit, and to help them relax during the examination. We have received a lot of praise (and thanks!) over the years for our focus on the needs of nervous patients and we’re proud to say that many continue to visit us without fear as a result. If you’re nervous about coming to see us, let our reception team know and we’ll ensure we take good care of you from the outset.
Can my children come for a check-up?
Yes – we think it’s important for children to get used to visiting the dentist from an early age, so we offer free check-ups for them until the age of six. After that, there’s a special low rate for young people up to the age of 16, including for any treatments they need. Speak to our reception team for more details.
Can I park nearby when I come for my dental appointment in Wetherby?
Yes – we offer free parking for our patients, right outside the practice in our private car park. If you’re using public transport, we’re just half a mile north of the bus station in the centre of Wetherby, and the X98 and X99 buses stop right outside our practice.
